“Wake me up from my sleeping, to the truth that You’re here now” -A Dub

saturday morning. woke up with this song in my head and this sight to my eyes.

The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.

—Psalm 12:6

For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.

—Jeremiah 31:25

Thankful for my Dad

Text message I got today (scriptures referenced added in italics):

God is for you (Romans 8:31)

”What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

God is with you (Hebrews 13:5)

“…for he has said, ”I will never leave you nor forsake you.”“

God is in you (Colossians 1:27)

God chose to make known how great…are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

Love,

Dad

The desire of the enemy is to rob you of your appetite for everything to do with the Lord. He will use the excuse of busyness, tiredness, and hardships to keep you from the Word. No matter what happens do not allow him to wrestle the Sword from your grasp. It is better to fall fall in battle swinging the Sword than to die an old man with only the faint memory of past battles. Fight on my friends, fight on.

Let all that I am praise the Lord; May I never forget the good things He does for me.
